The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
